James Badge Dale and Sarah Bolger to Star in Indie ‘Relative Stranger’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Kane Senes is directing

James Badge Dale and “Once Upon a Time” actress Sarah Bolger are set to star in the character-driven drama “Relative Stranger.”

Kane Senes is helming with Stephen J. Berger producing.

Story follows a Civil War veteran who shows up at the home of his brother-in-law’s family with dire consequences when he gets into a lethal feud with the neighbors. Bolger will play Badge Dale’s niece.

Production is set to start in September in Texas.

The CAA and MJ Management-repped Badge Dale has a busy year and looks to continue to be busy. In the last year he has had supporting roles in “Flight,” “Iron Man 3,” “World War Z” and “The Lone Ranger” and is currently filming the Joe Carnahan’s pic “Stretch.” He is also set to star in the off-Broadway play “Small Engine Repair.”

After breaking through on the ABC show “Once Upon a Time,” Bolger has started to ramp up her film career, having recently joined the Lionsgate production “Reawakening” which also stars Mark Duplass and Olivia Wilde. She is repped by CAA and Mosaic.
