Jack Jones has joined the cast of David O’Russell’s (pictured above) political thriller “American Hustle,” opposite Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, Jennifer Lawrence, Christian Bale and Jeremy Renner.

The film is currently shooting in Boston. Sony, which plans to release “Hustle” in December, showed several scenes from the movie during its presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Wednesday evening.

Jones completes shooting before he begins a month-long multi-city concert tour of Great Britain during May and June.

Script is penned by Eric Singer and Russell. Formerly titled “American Bullshit,” the movie focuses on Abscam, the FBI sting operation involving a fictional Middle East sheikh that resulted in the 1981 convictions of a U.S. Senators and five members of the U.S. Congress for accepting bribes.

Jones has an album, “Love Ballad,” currently in distribution by Aspen Records.
