‘Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ to Premiere in London

The second installment in the “Hunger Games” series will premiere in London on Nov. 11, Lionsgate announced today.

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” debuts in theaters worldwide on Nov. 22.

Jennifer Lawrence reprises her role as Katniss Everdeen. Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci and Donald Sutherland also star.

Catching Fire” is directed by Francis Lawrence, from a screenplay by Simon Beaufoy and Michael DeBruyn, based upon the novel by Suzanne Collins and produced by Nina Jacobson and Jon Kilik.

The first “Hunger Games” film grossed nearly $700 million at the worldwide box office and analysts have high hopes for the second installment.
