With the Hamptons International Film Festival around the corner, the festival has released its full slate of programming.

Richard Curtis’ “About Time” will be the Southampton opener on Oct. 11, while John Wells’ “August: Osage County” will be that Saturday’s centerpiece film. Meanwhile “Kill Your Darlings” will open the fest on Oct. 10, “12 Years a Slave” will wrap it up, and “Nebraska” will be the Sunday centerpiece.

This year’s spotlight films are as follows: Drake Doremus’ drama “Breathe In,”  Spike Jonze’s dramedy “Her,” Jason Reitman’s “Labor Day” (starring Kate Winslet), Justin Chadwick’s bio pic “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom,” Asghar Farhadi’s French mystery drama “The Past,” the world premieres of Anthony Fabian’s “Louder Than Words” and Shana Betz’s “Free Ride,” and “Capital,” which will be preceded by a tribute to its Oscar-winning director Costa-Gavras.

HIFF will screen the world preem of “American Masters — Marvin Hamlisch: One Singular Sensation,” as well as the U.S. preem of “The Armstrong Lie.” In total, the festival’s world cinema feature films segment boasts 13 world premieres, seven North American premieres and ten U.S. premieres.

Documentary director Barbara Kopple will kick off HIFF’s third annual “Rowdy Talks” series on Oct. 11. The sessions will include a panel discussion with director Whitney Ransick, producer John Sloss, and Independent Filmmaker Project’s Joana Vicente — moderated by Variety executive editor Steven Gaydos — on the past, present and future of independent New York cinema.
