Greene, Walsh, Gaffigan also starring

Gina Gershon has joined the cast of coming-of-age comedy “Staten Island Summer,” opposite Graham Phillips, Zack Pearlman, Ashley Greene, Kate Walsh and Jim Gaffigan.

“Staten Island Summer” focuses on recent high school graduates spending their summer working as life guards at a swimming pool, attempting to sort out their futures — which become complicated when one falls for a mobster’s daughter, played by Greene.

Rhys Thomas is making his directorial debut on “Staten Island Summer” from a script by Colin Jost. Lorne Michaels and John Goldwyn are producing for Paramount.

Gershon is portraying a MILF-type character who entices the lifeguards at the pool.
