Warner Bros. is showing its faith in Will Beall, as the “Gangster Squad” scribe has signed a blind two script deal with the studio.
Though it’s not known which films will be part of the deal, the pact represents a guarantees that Beall will stay in business with the studio.
Warner Bros. had no comment.
It had been reported last year that Beall was working on “The Justice League” script and it is unknown at this time whether the same draft will be used once a director has been chosen.
The move is a major commitment for a studio given how early Beall is in his career. Prior to signing this deal, Beall had been taking several meetings around town and was on the shortlist of writers Universal was eying to pen the script to “The Legend of Conan.”
Beal is repped by CAA and Management 360.
