Eric Lively set for ‘A Madea Christmas’

Actor joins cast of Tyler Perry feature

Eric Lively has joined the cast of Tyler Perry’s “A Madea Christmas,” which Perry is writing and directing.

Lionsgate will release the pic, which also stars Chad Michael Murray, Larry the Cable Guy and Kathy Najimy.

In the film Madea gets talked into helping a friend pay her daughter a surprise visit in the country for Christmas. Their arrival, as the town prepares for its annual Christmas Carnival, prompts secrets to be revealed.

Lively will play the husband of the daughter.

Perry will produce along with Ozzie Areu and Matt Moore. The pic will be released Dec. 13.

Past credits for Lively, repped by Buchwald-Fortitude and Untitled, include “American Pie” and “The Breed.”
