Twenty-four hours prior to a proposed Brit blizzard, the crew of Paramount’s “Flight” safely touched down for Thursday’s U.K. take-off.

Pic pilot Robert Zemeckis joined his onscreen captain, Denzel Washington, on the red runway in a freezing yet fan-infested Leicester Square.

Co-star Kelly Reilly seemed pleased to be back on home turf, all be it frozen, ditching her character’s Texan drawl for her native Surrey-grown tone.

Crazed crowds lining the carpet chanted for Washington. “Are they saying my name back there?” he queried, colloquially quipping, “I got them to do that. It’s quite nice — drop a quid there.”

The star concluded his red carpet tour with “Enjoy the flight!” Instantly shaking his head, he added, “Oh, I can’t believe I said that. I cannot believe I said that. Shameless!”

Escaping the cold, preem passengers took to the warmth of the Empire Cinema, ready to sit back for a turbulent ride.
