The official trailer for star Shailene Woodley’s “Divergent” wont be available until the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, but studio Lionsgate has offered us a small teaser to whet our appetites.
The 13-second short gives fans of author Veronica Roth’s dystopian young adult novels a look at how director Neil Burger has adapted the franchise. There are menacing stares from Kate Winslet, who plays evil leader Jeanine Matthews, intense discussion with Maggie Q’s Tori Wu and Theo James’ Four and, of course, lots of running, jumping, kicking and general fleeing for her life from Woodley.
Watch to see if you want to survive.
The film bows March 21, 2014.
