Walt Disney Studios has upped Tom MacDougall to senior VP of music.

MacDougall will continue to supervise all musical elements of Disney’s and Pixar’s animated features, the Mouse House’s shorts program, along with other ancillary projects. He has served as VP since 2004.

The longtime Disney exec recently oversaw the soundtracks for “Tangled,” “Winnie the Pooh” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” and he’s working on the upcoming “Frozen.” He joined Disney in 1993 and began working on the studio’s animated pics in 1995, starting with “Toy Story.”

During his career at Disney, MacDougall has supervised the scores and songs for Pixar’s 13 films including the “Toy Story” trilogy, “A Bug’s Life,” “Monsters, Inc.,” “The Incredibles,” “Wall-E,” “Ratatouille,” “Finding Nemo,” “Up,” both the “Cars” films and, most recently, “Brave.”

Songs MacDougall has produced include three Oscar winners: “You’ll Be in My Heart” from “Tarzan,” “Monsters, Inc.’s” “If I Didn’t Have You” and “We Belong Together” from “Toy Story 3.”
