Pic currently stars Jason Bateman and Tina Fey with Shawn Levy on board to helm.
Based on the Jonathan Tropper novel, story follows a dysfunctional and idiosyncratic family in which the father’s death forces four grown siblings to spend a week together in the house where they grew up for the first time in a decade. Stoll will play Bateman’s brother.
Levy and Paula Weinstein will produce.
When Levy came on board, the project jumped back on the fast track, and the recent additions of Fey and Stoll show that the film is closing in on a production start.
The UTA and Suskin Management-repped Stoll has already had a big year with “C.O.G.” which preemed at Sundance and the Netflix series “House of Cards.” He also just wrapped production on “The Glass Chin.”
