Clint Eastwood’s ‘Jersey Boys,’ Ben Affleck’s ‘Live By Night’ Get Release Dates

Warner Bros. announced today the release dates of two high-profile film adaptations, the Clint Eastwood-directed “Jersey Boys” and Ben Affleck’s “Live By Night.”

Jersey Boys” will be released June 20, based on the Tony-winning musical of the same name about the formation of 1960s band the Four Seasons. The film was originally with Sony, but Graham King signed a multi-year deal with Warner Bros. last year.

Live By Night” will hit theaters Christmas Day 2015. In addition to directing, Affleck will also write, produce and star in the adaptation of Dennis Lehane’s novel of the same name. Di Caprio’s Appian Way and Jennifer Davisson Killoran are also producing.

Lehane also wrote the book which inspired Affleck’s feature directorial debut, “Gone Baby Gone.” “Live By Night” marks his first directorial effort since winning the best picture Academy Award for “Argo.”
