Brett Ratner Signs With WME

Director-producer starting shooting on 'Hercules'

Producer-director Brett Ratner has signed with WME after leaving CAA.

WME confirmed the signing on the same day of the announcement that Ratner had donated $1 million to the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.

Ratner is about to begin shooting “Hercules,” starring Dwayne Johnson, as a co-production between MGM and Paramount. His directing credits include “Tower Heist,” “X-Men: The Last Stand” and the “Rush Hour” trilogy.

He’s also been active in producing via his Rat Entertainment banner on such titles as “Hercules,” “Horrible Bosses,” “Tower Heist” and “Mirror Mirror.”

Ratner’s move to WME was first reported by Deadline.
