Tribeca Films has acquired U.S. rights to coming-of-age drama “Beneath the Harvest Sky,” starring Callan Mcauliffe (“The Great Gatsby”) and Emory Cohen.

Produced by Sunny Side Up Films, “Beneath the Harvest Sky” centers on two teenage boys and their last summer working the potato harvest. The film, set in Maine, is co-directed by Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly.

“Beneath the Harvest Sky” premiered at the Toronto Film Festival, where Variety’s Peter Debruge gave the film a positive review: “Set against the hardscrabble backdrop of northern Maine potato country, ‘Beneath the Harvest Sky’ offers a heartbreakingly authentic, vividly realized account of adolescent frustration and yearning, as co-helmers Gaudet and Pullapilly draw upon their documentary background to bring specific local texture to this familiar narrative terrain.”

Variety recently placed Gaudet and Pullapilly on its 10 Directors to Watch list.

Paradigm brokered the deal. Gaudet and Pullapilly are repped by UTA and Kaplan Perrone.
