“Anchorman 2” is borrowing a move from the “World War Z” playbook and will offer fans the chance to buy a “superticket,” which would allow them to see the film two days early.

Paramount, partnering with AMC Theaters and Fandango, announced the plan today, but did not offer up the price or any additional details. The so-called “supertickets” go on sale on Nov. 26, and fans can register to get info at AnchormanMovie.com.

Film is set for release on Dec. 20.

Paramount sold a similar ticket for “World War Z.” For $50, fans received an early 3D screening of the pic, one HD digital copy, one pair of “World War Z” custom RealD 3D glasses, a full-size limited-edition movie poster and a small popcorn.

As Variety reported back in July, four out of the five screenings for superticket holders were sold out (the fifth was at 80% capacity).
