Alicia Vikander Finds Her ‘Man From U.N.C.L.E.’ for Warners

Tom Cruise stars in Guy Ritchie helmed pic

Alicia Vikander is in talks to join Tom Cruise and Armie Hammer in Warner Bros. remake of “The Man From U.N.C.L.E.”

Guy Ritchie is on board to direct the adaptation of the 1960s TV series which followed two agents of the United Network Command for Law Enforcement as they fought the evil agents of Thrush.

Ritchie will also produce along with producing partner Lionel Wigram. John Davis is also producing.

Vikander has been in demand over the past year, landing roles in DreamWorks’ “The Fifth Estate” and Legendary’s upcoming “Seventh Son” and was also seen in the Oscar nommed foreign language pic “A Royal Affair” and Focus’  “Anna Karenina.”

She is repped by UTA, Actors in Scandinavia and Tavistock Wood Management.
