Kate Bosworth and Thomas Jane will star in horror-thriller “Somnia” with production starting Nov. 11.

“Oculus” director Mike Flanagan came on board to helm “Somnia” during the Toronto Film Festival.

Sierra/Affinity is selling international markets on both films at the American Film Market. Focus Features International, which is being shuttered, was selling “Somnia” at Toronto along with “Oculus.”

Producers on “Somnia” are Intrepid’s Trevor Macy, along with William D. Johnson and Sam Englebardt of Demarest Films, which will produce and co-finance with MICA Entertainment. Mali Elfman and D. Scott Lumpkin are exec producing.

“Somnia,” written by Flanagan and Jeff Howard, centers on an orphaned child whose dreams and nightmares manifest physically as he sleeps. Flanagan and Howard also co-wrote “Oculus,” which was acquired for the U.S by Relativity with Jason Blum’s Blumhouse.

In addition to Bosworth and Jane, “Somnia” will star Jacob Tremblay as the child.

Bosworth will next be seen in “Homefront.” Jane will be seen next in “Drive Hard” with John Cusack.

Bosworth is represented by CAA, Radius Entertainment, and Sloane Offer Weber and Dern. Jane is represented by Paradigm and Ziffren Brittenham.
