The Adam Sandler-Drew Barrymore romantic comedy, which had been tentatively titled “Blended,” now has a Memorial Day weekend 2014 launch date.

Frank Coraci will direct the Warner Bros. film from a script by Ivan Menchell and Clare Sera. Story revolves around a couple who, after disastrous blind date, are stuck together in a family resort with their children from previous marriages.

Sandler’s Happy Madison will produce, along with Mike Karz. Production is set to start in May.

Fox is also opening “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” on a May 23, 2014. A Warner spokesman said the Sandler film is currently untitled.

Warner Bros. also moved the Johnny Depp sci-fier “Transcendence” forward a week to April 18, 2014.
