Seydoux wears ‘Yves Saint Laurent’

Actress to play designer's muse

French actress Lea Seydoux has been cast as Loulou de la Falaise in Bertrand Bonello’s “Yves Saint Laurent.”

A flamboyant designer of jewellery and accessories for Yves Saint Laurent who allegedly inspired his see-through blouses, de la Falaise was also the designer’s best friend.

Seydoux joins Gaspar Ulliel (“The Princess of Montpensier”), who plays Saint Laurent, and Jeremie Renier (“My Way”) as Pierre Berge, Saint Laurent’s lover and business partner.

Olga Kurylenko (“Quantum of Solace”) is also rumored to be circling a role in Bonello’s film.

Her star on the rise, Seydoux has managed to mix European roles (Benoit Jacquot’s “Farewell My Queen,” Christophe Gans’ “Beauty and the Beast,” Abdellatif Kechiche’s upcoming “Blue Is the Warmest Color”) with Hollywood blackbusters including Brad Bird’s “Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol” and Ridley Scott’s ‘Robin Hood”).
