Toronto: Holly Hunter Joins Al Pacino In ‘Manglehorn’

Holly Hunter will star opposite Al Pacino in David Gordon Green’s drama, “Manglehorn,” financed and produced by Worldview Entertainment.

Hunter’s attachment was announced at the Toronto Film Festival, where WestEnd Films is handling foreign sales. Shooting will start this fall in Austin, Texas, with Green directing for Paul Logan’s script.

Chris Messina and “Spring Breakers” director Harmony Korine also star. Worldview CEO Christopher Woodrow will produce with Worldview’s Molly Conners alongside Lisa Muskat, Derrick Tseng and Green.

Hunter is the female lead in the film with Pacino starring as an an eccentric man who tries to come to terms with a past crime that cost him the love of his life.
