Cohen Media Group and U.K.-based distributor Park Circus are partnering on a deal for Park Circus to handle theatrical and festival distribution outside North America of titles in the Cohen Film Collection.

Charles S. Cohen acquired the collection in 2011 via a deal for rights to the Raymond Rohauer Film Collection of over 700 titles. The partnership comes as Cohen Media Group is poised to participate in its first European Film Market at Berlin, with Liz Mackiewicz representing CMG.

More than two dozen titles from the Cohen Film Collection will be available at Berlin, including Buster Keaton’s “The General” and “Steamboat Bill, Jr.”; “The Thief of Bagdad,” starring Douglas Fairbanks; D.W. Griffith’s “Intolerance”; “Sudden Fear,” starring Joan Crawford; Fritz Lang’s “Hangmen Also Die”; “Fire Over England,” starring Vivien Leigh; and Terence Young’s thriller “Corridor of Mirrors.”

Cohen formed CMG in 2008, and the company was a producer on “Frozen River.” Current and upcoming releases include Lorraine Levy’s “The Other Son”; French director Francois Ozon’s thriller “In The House”; Spain’s official entry to the Academy Awards, “Blancanieves”; and Fernando Trueba’s “The Artist and the Model,” starring Jean Rochefort and Claudia Cardinale.
