The American Film Market will bow the AFM Producers Forum at this year’s market, targeting established producers with 16 sessions with experts and networking opportunities. Topics will touch on global production issues and each sessions will be followed by a private networking reception.
“The new AFM Producers Forum will provide experienced producers with knowledge on a wide range of topics that are most important to working professionals along with exclusive social activities.” said Jonathan Wolf, AFM managing director, in a statement. “We are looking forward to hosting the global film industry’s best and brightest with this new program.”
AFM’s Conference Series, which runs Nov. 8-12, includes topics on finance, pitching, crowdfunding, video on demand, marketing and film festivals.
Unifrance is returning to AFM after a three-year absence, while Japan is expanding its presence with a 2,000-square-foot pavilion hosted by JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) and UniJapan.
New exhibitors for 2013 include Relativity Media and Panorama Media.
AFM runs Nov. 6-13 in Santa Monica.
