The Aug. 10 workshop, which will be attended by 30 distribs, will look at how distribs and exhibitors can work more closely together to attract audiences. Four distribs from the Mediterranean network MEDIS will also attend.
“Europa Distribution created the workshop as a chance to take a hard, practical look at the opportunities and challenges faced by the distributors in the digital world when it comes to engaging audiences,” the org’s topper Adeline Monzier said.
The session will combine market data on audiences, experts’ presentations on digital marketing and social media, and distributors’ and exhibitors’ feedback on their marketing strategies and interaction to get the attention of audiences.
Speakers include Dan Light of Glasseye Inc., David Graham of Attentional, Seneit Debese of Debese Film, Arnaud Reaute of Under the Milky Way, Andreas Baumann of Drei Freunde, Frank Braun of Neugass Kino and Anne Pouliquen of Distingo. The panel will be moderated by Jan Naszewski of New Horizons Film Fest and New Europe Film Sales.
