The Ile de France Film Commission and Film London, two of Europe’s most dynamic film promotion orgs, have reupped their partnership.
The commissions will re-team up on two major events: London’s Production Finance Market in October, and ParisFX in Enghien-les-Bains in December, where U.K. and French talents working in the field of production and post-production will be showcased.
The seventh edition of the PFM will take place on Oct. 16 and 17. The event gathers 150 producers and financiers every year and presents more than 60 projects.
Paris FX, which is set to take place Dec. 4 and 6, will invite four U.K. post-production and VFX companies to participate in the confab.
The pact between the two commissions has enabled a number of international productions to shoot in France and the U.K. These include “Red II” with Bruce Willis, Martin Scorsese’s “Hugo” (pictured) and Fernando Meirelles’ “360.”
Pact renewal was inked by Adrian Wootton, CEO of Film London and the British Film Commission, and Olivier-Rene Veillon, topper of the Ile de France Film Commission.
