Brit comic David Walliams is set to voice the character of Pudsey in the “Britain’s Got Talent” winner’s feature pic “Pudsey: The Movie.”

The family pic, which is helmed by Nick Moore (“Wild Child,” “Horrid Henry: The Movie”), follows a stray London dog who is content on his own until he meets his siblings for the first time and then embarks on a plan to save himself and his family from their evil landlord Mr. Thorne and his cat Faustus.

Vertigo Films and Syco Entertainment produce in association with Infinite Wisdom and Backwell Productions.

“Pudsey” is penned by Paul Rose (“Dani’s House”) and stars a raft of Brit talent including Jessica Hynes, John Sessions and Luke Neal.

Pic is produced by Vertigo Films’ Rupert Preston and Marshall Levitan and exec produced by Allan Niblo, James Richardson, Jonathan Shalit, Mark Brittain, Ben Todd, Nigel Williams and Jamie Carmichael with co-producer Michael Ford.

Pic, which began lensing in Blighty on Sept. 1, is slated for a May 2014 release in the U.K. via Vertigo Distribution.

Content is selling international rights.
