The project was announced on the opening day of Cannes. Silver Reel Entertainment and Lotus Entertainment have partnered to finance and sell at the market.
UTA Independent Film Group and CAA are co-repping domestic rights.
Indigo Films’ Nicola Giuliano, Vertigo Entertainment’s Roy Lee and Journeyman Pictures’ Paul Mezey are producing. Giuliano also produced Giuseppe Capotondi’s original film, which premiered in competition at the 2009 Venice International Film Festival.
“The Double Hour” centers on two lovers who find themselves victims in the midst of a dangerous and well planned robbery.
