The 2014 British Academy Film Awards have been set for Feb. 16, keeping them two weeks ahead of the March 2 Oscars but leaving themselves in the middle of next year’s Winter Olympics.

The kudos, which took place this year on Feb. 10, are returning to London’s Royal Opera House. The Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia are running from Feb. 7-23.

The BAFTAs have matched the Oscars for best picture in each of the past five years — “Slumdog Millionaire,” “The Hurt Locker,” “The King’s Speech,” “The Artist” and “Argo.” The last divergence between the two was when BAFTA picked “Atonement” and the Oscars went with “No Country for Old Men.”
