With “Muppets Most Wanted” out in theaters next March, Disney has started to promote the characters through a new online series of shorts called “Muppisodes.”
The first installment, “Food Fight,” or make that “Føødê Fïtê!,” was released exclusively to BuzzFeed and features the Swedish Chef taking on Gordon Ramsay in a food truck cook off.
Episode includes the usual gang of Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Scooter, Walter, Gonzo, Statler, Waldorf, Beaker, Sweetums and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, as well as cameos by Disney Channel’s Ross Lynch.
It also includes an appearance by WWE’s Mike “The Miz” Mizanin, with a longer six-minute version of the short also playing on the company’s website and YouTube page.
The three-minute version is available on BuzzFeed and Disney’s own online channel.
