Jay Leno Takes His ‘Jay Leno’s Garage’ YouTube Show to Pixar

Episode shows off the Pixar campus as well as cars from Disneyland's Autopia ride

Jay Leno's Garage goes to Pixar.

Pixar Animation Studios, which already has proved it’s as much of a fan of cars as Jay Leno with its animated films, has helped the comedian rev up the latest episode of his YouTube series, “Jay Leno’s Garage.”

The 12th year of the company’s annual Motorama car show serves as the setting of the episode in which Leno hands over hosting duties to Pixar’s Jay Ward, who produces the annual event and is considered the “guardian” of the “Cars” franchise and was one of the films’ art coordinators, character managers and voice.

Episode should prove interesting even for non-car fans, given that it gives viewers a look at the Pixar campus — from the art inside the halls of its main building to the courtyard, with oversized versions of Pixar’s iconic desk lamp and beach ball from the animated short “Luxo, Jr.”

Episode features vehicles from Disneyland’s Autopia theme park ride; new models from General Motors, including its C7 Corvette and electric Cadillac ELR; and cars from Los Angeles’ Petersen Automotive Museum, including Steve McQueen’s 1956 Jaguar.
