Multihyphenate Anthony E. Zuiker will be feted with the PioneerPrize at the Intl. Digital Emmy Awards on April 8 at Mip TV’s creative market and forum.
Award recognizes Zuiker’s work on the online thriller “Cybergeddon.” Past recipients include “The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers” creator Jon M. Chu and “Heroes” creator-exec producer Tim Kring.
Best known for creating the global hit “CSI” franchise, Zuiker tops the Dare to Pass shingle and has embraced a career of cross-platform storytelling.
Currently, he is exec producer of “Wonderland,” a drama pilot currently in production for NBC, and has announced a foray into unscripted TV with “Whodunnit?,” a show that tests contestants’ investigative skills.
“Cybergeddon” launched first on Yahoo! in September in 25 countries and 10 languages as a series of three installments.
Additionally, Zuiker will be a part of Mip TV’s conference program with a Media Mastermind keynote on the future of storytelling.
