Will Ferrell Stars as ‘Anchorman’ Ron Burgundy in New Dodge Durango Commercial (Video)

In anticipation of the Dec. 20 release of Will Ferrell starrer “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues,” Paramount has partnered with Chrysler’s Dodge on a new set of promos.

New spots feature Ferrell as “San Diego’s top-rated newsman” Ron Burgundy, who talks up the features of the 2014 Dodge Durango and is “the only one with the guts to tell you about the glove box”:

On Monday, Chrysler, which has previously worked with celeb endorsers including Eminem, Clint Eastwood and Paul Harvey, is expected to announce Ferrell’s Ron Burgundy as the new Dodge spokesman, reports USA Today.

Paramount also recently announced they’ve partnered with Newseum for “Anchorman: The Exhibit,” which will feature props, costumes and footage from the 2004 comedy “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.” Exhibit is set to take place in Washington, D.C., and will open November 14.

Anchorman 2” also stars Jim Carrey, Christina Applegate and Paul Rudd.
