Twentieth Century Fox Names Anton Monsted SVP, Fox Music

Exec has worked on pics including "Moulin Rouge!" and "Australia"

Twentieth Century Fox has tapped music supervisor Anton Monsted as the new senior vice president of Fox Music.

Monsted is a longtime collaborator with Baz Luhrmann and comes from his production company, Bazmark, where he was general manager working between New York and Sydney. Most recently, he was executive music supervisor and co-producer of this summer’s “The Great Gatsby,” and co-produced the three star-filled soundtrack albums with Luhrmann.

Monsted has also worked with Luhrmann on “William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet,” “Moulin Rouge!” and “Australia” and their respective soundtracks.
