Generate, the talent management wing of Defy Media, has recruited three new managers to the fold: Jared Schwartz, Laura Gibson and Yoni Ovadia.
Schwartz and Gibson come to Generate from management company Caliber Media. Ovadia was head of his own shingle, Ovadia Talent. The trio will work with Generate co-founders Dave Rath and Kara Welker and managing partner Jared Hoffman to rep clients in a broad range of film, TV, digital and branding arenas.
The trio bring to Generate a client roster of working thesps including Luke Arnold (Starz’s “Black Sails”), Kenny Wormald (“Footloose”), Hannah Murray (“Game Of Thrones”), Elizabeth Blackmore (“Evil Dead”), Sam Huntington (“Being Human”), Margaret Judson (“The Newsroom”), Necar Zadegan (“Rake”) and Emilia McCarthy (“Hemlock Grove”).
The addition of these standout executives, each with deep knowledge of the entertainment world and a keen focus on the opportunities emerging in an increasingly convergent media environment, will be invaluable to our clients,” Hoffman said.
Defy Media was forged earlier this year by the merger of Break Media and Generate parent Alloy Digital.
