As festival season kicks in, Relativity has named Christian Monti senior VP, international sales, distribution and acquisitions.

Monti will report to Relativity International president Camela Galano, with whom he will work to develop output deals and service existing clients and relationships with foreign distributors.

Before joining Relativity, Monti served as VP, sales and distribution at Warner Bros. International, where he managed green light analysis and business strategy. Prior to Warner Bros., Monti served as director of business development and co-production at Paramount International Television.

Relativity most recently released “Paranoia,” which grossed just $6 million at the domestic box office since opening Aug. 16. Up next, the production shingle will unspool action comedy “The Family” Sept. 13.
