Lesinski will report to Bruce Rosenblum, president of Legendary Television and Digital Media, and will oversee “digital content development, production and distribution, and contribute to designing, evaluating and implementing Legendary’s digital strategy,” according to a press release announcing the appointment on Monday.
Rosenblum joined Legendary from Warner Bros. in June. Lesinski’s hiring is Rosenblum’s latest move to beef up his team under Legendary’s new deal at Universal.
Lesinski founded Paramount’s digital entertainment unit in 2006 and recently served as the division’s president. He oversaw a number of digital initiatives at the studio, including original animated series “Jackass 2.5/3.5” and “Zoolander.” Prior to 2006, Lesinski served as president of Par’s worldwide home entertainment unit.
