Obama to Return to L.A. for Fundraiser at Peter Chernin’s Home

President Obama is returning to Los Angeles on June 7 for a luncheon fundraiser at the Santa Monica canyon home of Peter Chernin and his wife, Megan.

This will be Obama’s first fundraising swing through L.A. since his re-election. This time, he’s raising money for the Democratic National Committee.

Tickets to the event start at $10,000 per person, according to an invitation recently sent out. VIP tickets (lunch and a photo reception) are $16,200 per person, and co-chairs (which includes lunch, a photo and discussion) cost $32,400 per person.

The Chernins helped raise money for Obama’s re-election, and hosted an event at their home in 2011 with Education Secretary Arne Duncan.
