Hrithik Roshan Resting After Brain Surgery

Bollywood star told to take weeks off

Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan was resting at home Friday after being released from a Mumbai, India, hospital following brain surgery.
He will need at least four weeks recuperation before he can resume production, according to doctors at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai where he underwent surgery for a brain clot.

Roshan, 39, told assembled media, “I am fantastic” while posing for photogs on his release from the hospital. His father, Rakesh, who accompanied him from the hospital said the thesp was injured in the head during the shoot for “Bang Bang,” a Star TV and Twentieth Century Fox production, in Bangkok a few months ago.

The thesp was injured doing his own stunts on “Bang Bang” and “Krrish 3,” which is due for release this fall. He told the Times of India he would be careful but didn’t rule out continuing to do his own stunts.
