Make Believe on Broadway Gala. Nov. 4, venue TBD, Gotham. Ian McKellen hosts fundraiser for Only Make Believe, which brings theater to children with chronic illnesses and disabilities.
Stand-Up for Heroes Gala. Nov. 6, Madison Square Garden, New York. This is the centerpiece of the New York Comedy Festival Bob Woodruff Foundation, a veterans’ support org.
Heroes Gala. Nov. 12, Cipriani, Gotham. Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America honors Jon Stewart. Brian Williams hosts.
American Cinematheque Moving Picture Ball, Nov. 15, Beverly Wilshire, benefits the Cinematheque and its activities.
