AFM: Arclight’s ‘Lookalike’ Spotted by Well Go USA

Crime-romance set for VoD and theatrical release

Well Go USA has picked up North American rights to crime-romance “The Lookalike,” represented by Arclight Films.

Directed by Richard Gray, the picture is the story of two gangsters who need to find a woman who looks like the suddenly deceased object of affection of a notorious drug lord. “Lookalike” is directed and produced by Richard Gray.

Cast is headed by Justin Long, who also produces. It also includes John Corbett, Gillian Jacobs, Jerry O’Connell, Gina Gershon, Scottie Thompson and Luis Guzman.

“’The Lookalike’ weaves exhilarating action and mystery with meaningful real-life moments that take moviegoers on an extremely entertaining journey,” said Doris Pfardrescher, president of Well Go USA, which will release the film theatrically and on VOD in early summer 2014.

The deal was negotiated between Ying Ye on behalf of Arclight Films and Pfardrescher on behalf of Well Go USA.
