Teri Everett, who recently ankled as head of PR for News Corp., has jumped to Time Inc., where she’ll oversee corporate communications.
Everett’s former News Corp. colleague Gary Ginsberg has been the head of corporate communications at Time Warner since 2010.
Time Warner’s magazine group said Everett will manage all aspects of corporate communications for the company, including media relations and publicity, executive and employee communications, corporate philanthropy, government affairs and social responsibility. She starts Monday and will report to Time Inc. CEO Laura Lang.
“One of our priorities is to create a transparent, open dialogue about Time Inc.’s goals and strategies both within the company and to our external constituents,” Lang said. “Teri’s honest and direct approach and strong track record make her the ideal executive to lead our communications efforts.”
