Spike TV is inking up again.The Viacom guy-centric cabler has given a greenlight to makeover show “Tattoo Rescue,” set to debut next summer. Similar to series such as “Tabatha’s Salon Takeover,” “Tattoo Rescue” follows tattoo vet Joey Tattoo as he transforms failing tattoo shops into successful businesses. Spike already has a tattoo-centric programming lineup that includes “Ink Masters” and “Tattoo Nightmares.” “Tattoo Rescue” is produced by Charlie Corwin’s Original Media. Vem Miller’s Sweatshop Media also serves as exec producer. Spike TV has also renewed “World’s Worst Tenants” for a second season. Unscripted skein follows eviction specialists Todd Howard, Rick Moore and Moore’s wife, Randye, as they oust outrageous tenants from their residences. Freshman season, which aired over the summer, averaged 1 million viewers in its 10 p.m. Tuesday timeslot. “World’s Worst Tenants” is produced by Zoo Prods. partners Barry Poznick and John Stevens.
