Shine creates Ardaban shingle

Notional vet Chachi Senior tabbed to lead new unit

Shine America has given birth to Ardaban, a shingle that will create and develop new formats for the U.S. and global marketplace.

Leading the company as CEO will be former Notional co-president Chachi Senior. At IAC-owned shingle Notional, Senior helped launched series such as “Chopped,” “Momentum” and the upcoming “No Kitchen Required” for BBC America.

Ardaban will be headquartered in Gotham.

News comes just a few days after global Shine Group shelved its U.S.-based Reveille brand and renamed it Shine America. All of Ardaban’s output will be produced exclusively by Shine America and distributed globally via Shine International.

“The creation of Ardaban and appointment of Chachi as CEO signifies Shine’s continued commitment to partnering with the world’s best talent and creating new formats that connect with audiences,” said Shine America CEO Carl Fennessy. “With Chachi at the helm of Ardaban, we have added a new creative force to the Shine global family.”
