Randall Einhorn in overall deal at FX Productions

He'll continue on 'Wilfred,' develop new projects for network

FX Prods. has inked an overall deal with “Wilfred” exec producer Randall Einhorn.

Einhorn, who has also helmed and produced episodes of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” will develop, exec produce and direct projects for the cabler. Pact also calls for Einhorn to continue serving as exec producer and director on “Wilfred.”

“Randall has been a major player in the world of FX comedies, first on ‘Sunny’ and now on ‘Wilfred,'” said Eric Schrier, exec veep of FX Prods. and head of series development. “He has great sensibilities, and we look forward to him developing new projects for FX. He is also one of the most highly regarded comedy directors in television, and we’re thrilled that those services were included in this deal.”

Outside of FX, Einhorn has helmed episodes of “Parks and Recreation,” “Modern Family,” “Shameless” and “Nurse Jackie,” on which he currently serves as co-exec producer and director. Einhorn is also attached to direct feature films “Late Bloomer” and “Doomsday.”

He is repped by WME, Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment and attorney Michael Schenkman.
