Viacom music cabler Palladia is adding a pair of new series to its lineup.
Hourlong “Later … With Jools Holland,” which has been a 20-year staple on the BBC, and “Live From Daryl’s House” will premiere Sept. 6.
“Later” is a performance-driven series where acts combine forces to play before a live audience, with Holland wrangling interviews with them between songs. Musicians to be featured include Paul McCartney, Adele, Neil Diamond and the Black Keys.
Cable will telecast repeats from the BBC as well as new Stateside editions. Show is exec produced by Mark Cooper.
“Live From Daryl’s House,” which originated on the Internet, brings artists to musician Daryl Hall’s home studio — from duo Hall and Oates — in upstate New York. All parties begin to jam and then share stories.
Upcoming guests include Jason Mraz, Cee Lo Green and Train. Hall and Jonathan Wolfson exec produce.
