Ricky Gervais, Jim Gaffigan, Kevin Hart and Aziz Ansari are among the stand-up performers set to take the stage at upcoming New York Comedy Festival.
Events will take place across Gotham, including Hart’s perf at Madison Square Garden, Ansari will play both the Apollo Theater and Carnegie Hall, Gaffigan will headline the Apollo while Bill Maher takes his act to the Beacon Theater.
Previous comedians who have played the Garden include Eddie Izzard, Chris Rock, Andrew “Dice” Clay and Dane Cook.
Gervais will have a sitdown conversation with John Hodgman at Town Hall. In previously announced news, Robin Williams and David Steinberg will chat about the comedy business at the 92nd Street Y.
Other performers include Adam Carolla, Rob Delaney, Artie Lange, Patton Oswalt, Brian Regan, and Marlon and Shawn Wayans. In total, more than 150 comedians will perform around the city in more than 50 shows.
“There won’t be any shortage of laughs this November,” said fest co-founder Caroline Hirsch.
The fest, co-produced by Comedy Central, takes place Nov. 7-11.
