A reality series focused on the three grandchildren of the late former mob boss John Gotti is being developed by Fiore Films and Ted Field, producers of the upcoming Barry Levinson-directed Gotti film starring Al Pacino and John Travolta.
The TV project would feature John, Carmine and Frank Agnello, who were introduced to smallscreen viewers in the 2004-05 A&E series “Growing Up Gotti.”
“The boys have that special something that appeals to a very wide audience,” Fiore Films prexy-CEO Marc Fiore said. “We will be working with them to create a series that brings out each of their unique personalities as well as give an insider’s look into the lives of the latest generation of Gottis.”
Fiore will co-produce with Field’s Radar Pictures and Compelling Entertainment, the latter headed by Wayne Page.
Fiore, which previously acquired the life rights to John Gotti Jr., and Radar are producing feature film “Gotti: In the Shadow of my Father,” starring Pacino, Travolta and Ben Foster and scripted by Levinson, Leo Rossi and James Toback. Shooting is scheduled to begin in New York in the fall.
