NBCUniversal undergoes ad sales reorg

Conglom gives division more focus under Yaccarino

With Linda Yaccarino now settled into her new position as president of ad sales, NBCUniversal is undergoing a wholesale shuffle of exec positions under her watch.

Dan Lovinger has been promoted to exec VP of cable ad sales, adding sales oversight of several additional nets to his current duties as head of ad sales at Telemundo.

Mark Miller has been promoted to exec VP of ad sales for NBCUniversal News Group, while Peter Naylor is now exec VP of digital media sales for NBC News Digital.

Trish Frohman joins the conglom from Turner as exec VP of ad sales strategy. Alison Tarrant has been named exec VP of client solutions for the cable networks, a newly created division within the sales org.

All five executives report to Yaccarino.

“As we continue to embrace the challenges and opportunities in a world where none of the old rules apply, it is essential that we structure our group to respond to the changing needs of our clients and position ourselves for continued success,” Yaccarino said.

Yaccarino, who came to NBCUniversal from Turner in November 2011, reports to CEO Steve Burke.
