NBC wins rights to Ravich drama project

Plotline deals with Secret Service agent dealing with crisis

NBC has given a put pilot commitment to an untitled Rand Ravich project.

From Twentieth Century Fox TV, project is described as an emotionally charged action thriller set in Washington, D.C. An idealistic U.S. Secret Service agent finds himself at the epicenter of an international crisis on his first day on the job and needs to cross moral and legal lines as he navigates the highest levels of power and corruption on his search for the truth.

Ravich has experience at NBC. He was creator and showrunner of the Damian Lewis L.A. cop series “Life,” which ran for 32 episodes.

He exec produces with Far Shariat, who also teamed with Ravich on “Life.”

Peacock won the rights to the show from other nets who were also competitively bidding.
