“Parks and Recreation” showrunner Mike Schur has inked a two-year overall deal with Universal Television.

Schur will continue to exec produce the Amy Poehler-starrer and develop series for the net. “Parks and Rec” is currently heading into its fifth season.

He and “Parks” co-exec producer Dan Goor are currently pitching a new singlecam sitcom around town about a bunch of NYPD detectives.

Schur, an Emmy-winning scribe and producer, has an extensive history with the Peacock. He served as a writer and co-exec producer on “The Office,” and launched his career on “SNL” where he was a producer and head writer for “Weekend Update.”

Schur is currently up for two Emmys for his work on “Parks and Recreation.”

“Mike is the consummate showrunner. He is an amazing writer, has great leadership ability, strong producing skills, and he’s an all-around distinct creator. We are thrilled to continue our relationship with Mike and are excited about the buzz-worthy projects Mike has in development.”

He is repped by UTA, 3 Arts and attorney Ken Richman at Hansen Jacobson.
