MGM’s Television and Digital Marketing department has upped Michael Brown and Barry Gurstein to key positions within the group.
Brown has been tapped as exec VP of marketing with Gurstein as senior VP of worldwide TV marketing. Gurstein will report to Brown, and the pair will serve under MGM Television Group and Digital prexy, Roma Khanna.
Pair will help oversee national and international marketing for MGM’s assets, including over 4,500 films and TV series. Brown will also guide the development of MGM Television.
Khanna called the marketing team crucial to MGM’s branding and business development, adding, “Michael’s experience overseeing home entertainment and repertory distribution channels, paired with his and Barry’s familiarity with marketing MGM’s library make them uniquely positioned to take on this challenge of marketing our product.”
